Teaser Tuesdays

(Compliments of MizB @ Should Be Reading)

Here's what you're asked to do:
  1. Grab your current read.
  2. Let the book fall open to a random page.
  3. Share two teaser sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  4. Share the title of the book that the “teaser” comes from ~ so people can find the book if they like the teaser.
  5. And remember – AVOID SPOILERS!!
Here's mine:

"With the blood-soaked towel out of the way, the enormity of the wound made her glance up at *****, who was focused on the task before them. ***** swallowed her question and began digging out debris, pieces of cloth, bits of wood, and bone where a rib had broken off. Please *****, get here soon."

Why didn't his heart jump when Miss. Sheldon was near. Why did it leap only for **** -a woman who remmined him too much like his mother?"

    Love Y'all,

  3. Renee ~ I know, right? I'm not good with blood, but that was an exciting part of the book!

Ashley ~ I'm so glad you shared your Teaser...thanks! It's a great one. I can't wait to read this sister has it, but I have so many too read, I haven't asked to borrow it yet. :)

    ~ Lori

  4. I know what you mean:~) But now I want to read "A Measure of Mercy" it sounds like an "edge of your seat" type of book.

    Love Y'all,

  5. @ Ashley = It's okay, but I think it would be even better if I knew who everyone is. There are 2 series before this one, and I'm starting to think they're all intertwined. There are references to others that sound like I should already know what's going on. :(

    @ Beth = LOL I agree! *grimace*
